Successful Business Mission to India

LNC planned and organized a delegation trip to Mumbai, India, for the Logistics Alliance Germany (LAG) from February 25 – 28, 2020. Headed by Steffen Bilger MdB, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and coordinator of the Federal Government for Freight Transport and Logistics, the 16-member delegation held talks in Mumbai with business representatives and members of chambers and associations, initiated with the support of a local service provider.

In cooperation with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), LNC organized an evening event with over 50 participants, including lectures and a panel discussion with bilateral German-Indian participation.

LAG also contributed to the transport logistic INDIA @CTL trade show (February 27-28, 2020) with its own information stand, and hosted the trade fair forum at the fairground. LNC was responsible for the overall concept and delegation’s program, as well as detailed planning and preparation of individual meetings, the main reception, design of the trade show stand, logistical arrangements, and communications, including moderation of the trade fair forum.

The delegation trip helped successfully identify various opportunities for cooperation between Indian enterprises and participating German partners. Individual contacts were made, Business participation in the networking events surrounding the official meetings was very strong, where German and Indian entrepreneurs discussed the growing needs of exporting companies in India planning to enter the European markets through a German gateway. .

Several Indian business representatives used the LAG inquiry form to list their requests, which will be forwarded and distributed to German logistics companies by LAG to help initiate orders.
