Successful networking at the Fruit Logistica
The first event of the Logistics Alliance Germany (LAG) in 2019 took place on 6 February. As in previous years, the LAG organised a tour of the fair - focusing on exhibitors from Central and South America - and invited guests to an evening reception in the Radio Tower Restaurant at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds to network exhibitors from Central and South America with German logistics players.
The occasion was the Fruit Logistica, the leading trade fair for fruit trade, which attracts international shippers and producers to Berlin every year. A focus has traditionally been on producers and exporters from Latin America's growing regions. The evening reception provided a suitable setting for continuing cooperation meetings and further networking. State Secretary Bilger and Mr. Huster, General Manager of the German Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association (DSLV) - representing the sponsoring association Logistics Alliance Germany e.V. - opened the reception in the presence of several members of the sponsoring association.
Among the participants, LAG had the pleasure to welcome Mrs. Florencia Vilanova de von Oehsen, Ambassador of El Salvador, Mr. Elmer Schialer, Ambassador of Peru and Mr. Fernando Daniel Ojeda, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay. LNC is responsible for the organization of the evening reception and the tour of the fair, the close coordination with the implementing partners, the invitation management as well as the implementation on site. The exhibition tour as well as the evening reception represents an ideal communication platform for the German logistics industry to get in touch with producers, shippers and exporters from Latin America.
LNC operates on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) the office of the LAG in Berlin and on behalf of the Förderverein Logistics Alliance Germany e.V. the office of the association based in Hannover.
